I'm taking an adventure in a time long ago when I used to play my favorite game of all.. But this time I get to go all the way... I WILL CATCH THEM ALL!

Day Four
Today I took a look at my pokedex and was inspired to build up my deck a bit! I figured that it wasn't too soon to acquire Zapdos even though his base level is 50. It took a quick flight via Pidgeotto over to Cerulean (are these names actually colors!?) and then I hopped on my shiny road bike, grabbed by hatchet, and took off for the power plant. Its a wonder any of the cities have any power because the whole plant was in shambles with stray Voltorbs that hovered around looking like items. Which is something else I don't get.. if I was really there I think I could tell the difference between a live Pokemon that shoots electricity and an item laying on the ground. The poor Voltorbs and Electrodes kepts committing suicide in front of me, which was kind of a downer. But as I approached the legendary bird Pokemon my spirits lifted! It wasn't too tough of a catch, I have had some awful luck in the safari zone, and I had already picked up some cool electric pokemon on the way. Sadly, I didn't run into an Electrobuzz. But i'm not sure I can catch him in red version. It can be rather confusing when remembering which is in which. Well after my incredible victory against all odds, I took a trip down south to find some old guys false teeth (not even kidding). They ended up in some strange corner of the safari zone (I seem to be in there a lot) which gave me an excellent change to pick up a few more for the Pokedex. I think my best catch out of that run was a level 32 Venomoth that will come in handy when I face Sabrina. And that's what I concluded to be the next best move. This Gym has always given me trouble because the best type against psychic is bug.. an otherwise useless type of Pokemon. Hands down bug Pokemon are the weakest, even when fighting psychic Pokemon they can barely stay alive! But non-the-less I might as well have one or two decent bugs.
Well whatever, I left for Saffron to face the spoon bender in question, and that is where I must leave it today because my house in chaos ATM and consequentially I have many other great tasks to accomplish.
Here's my mismatched team for today:
VENOMOTH :L32 HP 90
GYARADOS :L36 HP 125
GRAVELER :L32 HP 91
PIDGEOTTO :L33 HP 94
DRATINI :L24 HP 61
CHARMELEON :L34 HP 91
AND MY POKEDEX:
SEEN 105
OWN 44
Apparently in blogger not only can you have your blog all customized and stuff but you can also have extra pages! So coming soon I will have an entire page devoted to my overall, detailed Pokedex!

Day Three
My deviously constructed plans to rule the pokemon world were undermined by my own method of inception! My plan was to catch legendary pokemon such as Zapdos so I could become a master beyond all capacity!! Well anyways, after I thought about it I realized that it would be easier once I could utilize the full potential of... DUN DUN DUUUUUN THE MASTERBALL! So I took off for Saffron to beat up team rocket once again (Yesterday I didn't really feel like dealing with them as they can be super annoying with their obscure pokemon). A few things I'd like to share with my fellow Poke'geeks: As many trainers have rattata and raticate I found that having a figher on your team is invaluable. My Hitmonlee destroys all Normal types! And to counter all bats, whether they be zu's or Gol's, I have my indispensable Graveler (also good against flying types).
Upon arrival at the Silph tower I immediately pulled out my can of whoop-@$$ and got to town. Some of the rocket brothers were a pain... but I made relatively short work of them with my lethal operation, moving from room to room, K.O.ing pokemon all the way. In one section of the massive tower there was a cute nurse that told me to take a short nap, and when I woke up I found that all my pokemon were magically healed! I wonder what she did to them... anyway, I'll try not to think to hard about that one. The next step of my hellish trainer tormenting plan was portal hopping. Why couldn't they use these to avoid all those stupid mountain caves near the beginning of this game!? And if they have this sort of awesome technology then where are all the cars?
Whatever, after much exploration I ran into the guy who is always smelling me at later time (quite a disturbing outtro line) and as always, he just haaad to show me up with his "unbeatable" team. After my level 30-something pokemon beat his level 40 pokemon he backed down and attested to his future odor intake. I continued on, still smelling fresh.. the next door was the famous Giovanni (not sure how to spell his name) who was very glad to meet me once again, however I think he had ulterior motives because he launced an offensive, and since I'm no fence sitter, I took serious offense to his actions! To this day I haven't apollogized to that man. I intend to see that any man who operates under team rocket gets what he deserves: a short drop and a sudden stop. Enough of this nonsense, I'm no pirate! Well, after I had made sure that Giovanni was no longer glad to meet me again, I could finally get what I had come for! So I talked to Mr. Silph and he was pleased as punch that I saved his company from economic turmoil, but, instead of handing me piles of cash he decided to play it cheap and give me the ultimate pokemon catching tool (fine by me): The Masterball. But only one was turned over to the hero, so sooner or later I'm going to have to find a way to clone it (yes that is right.. pokeballs... are living creatures).
Other than my superior heroic deeds, I spend my day catching some new pokemon out in the abandoned house on Cinnabar island, and I did some neat pokemon trades at the pokemon lab. One could say that I truly did make some serisous pro-gress today (at least there weren't any con-gresses har har) here's my stats:
PLAYER Dante
BADGES 5
POKEDEX 38
TIME 27:43
HITMONLEE :L34 HP 80

GYARADOS :L35 HP 122
SNORLAX :L32 HP 146
GRAVELER :L32 HP 91

Day Two
Well today I was feeling like making progress, so I set a goal to defeat the almighty Koga! Now Koga is a ninja.. or so he says he is.. which makes me laugh because although the walls in the gym are invisible, he is not... shouldnt the walls be visible and the trainers drop from the ceiling? Well whatever.. so I beat all the trainers and embarrassed myself by ramming into all the glass walls (they must use Windex). Koga (who is pretty tough in gold version) was rather a let down, but I did use my Gyarados who can be quite impenatrable at some points. What suprised me most was that when I faced Koga's final Pokemon, a lvl 43 Wheezing, it promptly used self-destruct! It took out Gyarados but I still had a full load of others.. Koga is clearly a deranged Ninja wannabe, similar to middle school boys hooked on Naruto.. Well.. enough bashing the old fart. The next stage of the game is to shake up Sliph Co. (The local mad scientist Corperation which should be shut down for corruption, and animal testing (why do you think there are so many rattatas in the game)) which has been infiltrated by the everso evil Team Rocket. But that can be a major pain in the @$$ so I decided to work on my pokedex a bit. OH! almost forgot, At the gym my GYARADOS was trying to learn LEER! But, GYARADOS can't learn more than 4 moves! delete a move in order to learn LEER? HECK YES!! so poof! GYARADOS forgot tackle and learned LEER! But I had to wait till he got to LEVEL 32!!! most pokemon start out with that move! GRRRRRR.... Btw.. does anyone know what pokemon type is good against poison!? I can't figure it out for the life of me!!!
By beating Koga I recieved special permission to go swimming with my pokemon! Which is exciting, and rather sad that my pets are better swimmers than me.. None-the-less, I decided to fly out to Cerulean city and visit the power plant. Which came to a short end because frankly, I'm tired.
So here's todays little improved loadout:

Day One
Hey, im dante! Dante who? oh.. I'm Just a linguistics student goofin around, always lookin for something creative to put my mind to.. Anyway, I picked up the project of playing through the Pokémon games from stop to finish! A rather lengthy task, but I'm skipping all of the directors cut versions (yellow, crystal, emirald, etc). Anyway, I'll spare the boring details (or save them for later). I thought It would be fun to yabber about my daily adventures in the land of Pokémon. I got a bit of a late start in blogging this junk but I'll try my best to keep things up to date.
I'm on the fifth gym in pokémon red version, mostly rolling with my Pidgeotto, Hitmonlee, Gyarados, and Graveler. The ultimate goal of my project is to build up a fully loaded Pokédex and pass it on to the future games as I play through them.
I'll post my daily load-out of Pokémon along with what I do just to keep myself entertained.
So today was a rather long haul as I had quite a few hours to burn in the car. But sadly I gained little ground with the gyms... I started out doing work in the saffari zone and managed to pick up a few keepers for the long run. Its a tough place if you don't know how to deal with rocks 'n bait, but if you can peg the wild monster with a rock AND bait it, then you've got it in the bag. The new additions were Dratini, Ryhorn, and the ever famous Exeggcute! So in a rush of excitement I took off training my Dratini! It becomes a chore because this game has no exp. share but I've managed to bump him up to lvl 23! (he was 15 in the safari zone) So I'm wandering around to different towns getting in my daily walking in and I find myself blocked off by a sleeping blob of fat! Its a wonder of nature that 1: this thing sleeps in the middle of the road.. and 2: how all the trainers got to the other side of this monster and I can't get around it. So I pulled out my flute and played a song! (I knew I'd need it so I've been faithfully practicing it daily) But I must SUCK at flute because Snorlax wakes up and ATTACKS ME! So much for Symphony tryouts.. anyway, 20 minutes and 20 ultraballs later I found myself buying a lot of diet products for my obese new friend. Other than a few other trainer battles, that about sums up my day..
Here is my loadout!
Dratini :L23 HP/58
Gyarados :L31 HP/108
Graveler :L29 HP/83
Pidgeotto :L32 HP/91
Hitmonlee :L30 HP/70
Snorlax :L30 HP/136
Take some, make some, and give some.
